Interesting thoughts from Avni Mishra who participated in the Session by Prof. Peter Lindgren: Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, organized by Christ Innovation & Incubation Center (CIIC) in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs.

And Avni Mishra, Christ’29 BSc Economics and Co-Founder at MycoWrap, continues:

“I recently had the opportunity to attend an Engagement Session on Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, organised by Christ Innovation & Incubation Center (CIIC) in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs.

The session featured Prof. Peter Lindgren, Vice President of CTIF Global Capsule and Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School, whose work focuses extensively on innovation, technology and Multi-Business Model Innovation.

What made the session particularly valuable for me was how practical and engaging it was. I got to explore different ways of looking at and constructing a business model, and, most importantly, understand the idea of Multi-Business Model Innovation, looking beyond a single business model and exploring how different models can be combined, adapted and innovated to create stronger opportunities.

This was especially interesting to me as someone currently working on my own startup, because it gave me a completely different lens through which I can look at MycoWrap, its customers, its value proposition and the ways the business could potentially grow.

I was also fascinated by the tools and methodologies developed through Prof. Lindgren’s research, including thebeestar, thebeeboard, thebeeBMIboard and thebeelab which are designed to make business-model analysis and innovation more practical and hands-on.

And beyond the frameworks and tools, I was genuinely happy to meet and interact with Prof. Lindgren himself. Hearing his experiences and perspectives firsthand made the session feel much more meaningful than simply reading about these concepts.

I also got to know more about his research and books on business-model innovation, and I’m definitely looking forward to reading them and exploring his work further. His work spans business model innovation, global business models and interdisciplinary innovation, which makes it particularly interesting for someone trying to understand entrepreneurship beyond the conventional frameworks.

A big thank you to Dr. Garima Anand , Head of CIIC and Dr. Purnima Lala Mehta for organising this session and creating an opportunity for us to interact with sir and get such a diverse perspective on entrepreneurship and innovation.

I’m genuinely glad I attended. It was one of those sessions where I walked in expecting to learn about entrepreneurship and walked out with new ways of thinking about my own business.
