A two-day workshop will be organized jointly by CGC and Sharda University during 7-8 April 2025.

This workshop on “6G and Beyond” is intended to aware on the need of the 6G Communications
by addressing the gap due to the prevailing 5G. Though there is an overlap between 5G evolution
and 6G wireless technologies, there are some unique aspects of 6G which will be discussed in
this workshop.
6G is expected to be totally based on AI-driven communication technology. 6G will replace all
smart devices to intelligent devices and networks will be able to use higher frequencies (THz
bands). All the latest trends and metrics behind the 6G Communication would be the part of the
workshop. Computing technologies such as the cloud computing, fog computing, and edge
computing will be required to provide network resilience, distributed computing, lower latency
and time synchronization for 6G Communication. Hence, all these key technologies will be the
topics that would be covered in the workshop.
