The visiting intergroup parliamentary delegation, led by Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, former Telecom Minister of India, engaged in a productive interactive session with the Indian diaspora, which included representation from over 30 local organizations. Prof Ramjee Prasad, President of the CGC, was also present during this meeting. The members of the delegation communicated India’s steadfast commitment to combat terrorism and to hold individuals accountable for such acts. The strategic objectives of Operation Sindoor were clearly articulated to the local community.

The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, during which community members expressed their strong support for counterterrorism efforts. Furthermore, various issues related to the welfare of the Indian community abroad were addressed and discussed comprehensively.
