In the third week of their program, students embarked on an insightful visit to Struer Kommune, where they were warmly welcomed by Kristoffer Gravgaard, who provided a comprehensive introduction to the intricacies of local governance within the municipality.
Immersed in the local context, the students engaged with real-world Danish industry cases, tackling one of several challenging scenarios presented to them. This hands-on approach allowed them to channel their creativity and critical thinking as they developed innovative solutions, culminating in a pitch to showcase their assessments at the end of the week.
Additionally, the students had the opportunity to experience the vibrant spirit of the local community by visiting Struer Harbor. There, they participated in a delightful summer celebration filled with laughter, music, and the warmth of a bonfire, forging connections and making memories that complemented their academic pursuits.
One of the standout moments this week was when the summer school students made it to the front page of STRUER DAGBLADET, a daily newspaper. Their appearance there brought them immense joy and a sense of recognition that truly made their week.
