“I was pleased to attend the ETSI/IQC Quantum Safe Cryptography Conference 2026 at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, representing the Quantum Information Technologies Journal (QITJ) at River Publishers as Editor-in-Chief and CONASENSE-6G as Adjunct Coordinator.

A particular highlight was interviewing Rafik Goubran, Vice-President (Research, Innovation & International) at Carleton University , and welcoming the Brazilian Ambassador to Canada, Carlos Alberto Franco França, to the River Publishers booth. It was also a pleasure to exchange insights with Stephane Cozzo , Director of Membership Development at ETSI , on the growth of the global quantum ecosystem and industry collaboration.
