DREAM

Drone Ecosystem of Services for Maritime (DREAM) project, co-funded by Interreg ØKS, aims to establish cross-border collaboration for innovation to develop maritime drone services ecosystem, advancing the automation of regional ports to the next level and contributing to economic growth. Drone technology has the potential to automate wide ranging functions and processes at the ports and offshore for a fraction of cost, time, and risk. The EU U-Space framework, integrating large number of drones in very low-level airspace, opens new possibilities for creating novel maritime drone solutions and innovative business models leading to drone services ecosystem. For the ecosystem to be flexible, scalable, and compliant with maritime standards, user and operational requirements, it is vital to engage with and involve relevant stakeholders in going forward.
