CGC MBMI Fall School 2024 Online/Offline

CTIF Global Capsule Centre for Innovation, Development and Learning (CGC-IDL) offers a distinctive opportunity to participate in the 3-week CGC FALL School on Multi Business Model Innovation (MBMI) from 7th October to 25th October 2024. Students of 16+ years of age (11th, 12th, 12th pass out, undergraduate and postgraduate students) and coming from any background, namely Engineering, Design, Architecture, Management, etc. are eligible to participate in the CGC Summer School. Through the CGC MBMI schools, we intend to inculcate a Business & Entrepreneurial Mindset that is important for the students to be able to run a successful business and create a new business from their own ideas.

About the CGC MBMI training school

The Multi Business Model Innovation (MBMI) approach addresses the concerns in the business model community and the practice of business model innovation, focusing on the ideation and conceptualization of business models. The CGC Business Lab (BeeLab) is designed to analyze exciting business models, innovate, and develop business models. The MBMI training in BeeLab will allow students to make decisions and navigate situations from a business-oriented perspective. The BeeLab is developed based on evidence-based multi-business model innovation research carried out since 2002 at Polytechnic Di Milano-Italy, Aalborg University-Denmark, Stanford University-US, University Tor Vergata-Rome Italy, and Aarhus University-Denmark and well-described in the three books written by Professor Peter Lindgren on the concept. The concept is based on evidence-based research into existing business models and innovation and development of business models, as well as innovation and development in practical MBMI tools: The B-Board, B-Star Table, the B-Star, the BMI Board, the Business Model Innovation Lab – The B-Lab, with integrated business model tools.

Peter Lindgren

Peter Lindgren is Vice President of CTIF Global Capsule (CGC) and held a full Professorship in Multi business model and Technology innovation at Aarhus University, Denmark – Business development and technology innovation during 2014-2023. He was the Director of CTIF Global Capsule/MBIT Research Centre at Aarhus University – Business Development and Technology and is member of Research Committee at Aarhus University – BSS. His research interests are multi business model and technology innovation in interdisciplinary networks, multi business model typologies, sensing-, persuasive- and virtual- business models. He has been serving as quest editor and reviewer for many highly respected journals and conferences.

Jane Flarup
Jane Flarup

Jane Flarup is a Member of CTIF Global Capsule Research Group. She is the owner of janeflarup.dk, an independent research and communication entity. She is the author of several papers and books written in the field of organizational storytelling and psychology. She was working as an Associate Professor in Aarhus University during 2008-2023. She has also worked as business staff reporter at Jyllands-Posten – Denmark’s biggest business newspaper and media.

CGC FALL School on MBMI timeline

Notes:
  • The dates for the 3-week school are 7th October to 25th October 2024
  • The course fee must be paid within a week of registration for the fall school.
  • After submitting the course fee, we will ask students to prepare the documents to apply for the visa with our travel partner. The student must be present for the visa appointment. The student will have to pay the visa fee directly to our travel partner.
  • CGC is not responsible for the Danish embassy’s rejection of a visa, and the Danish embassy or CGC cannot refund the visa fee upon rejection.
  • If a student’s visa is rejected, the entire course fee will be refunded by CGC.
  • CGC can assist the student with travel tickets, visas, accommodation, and food in Denmark. After the visa grant, travel, accommodation, and food will be booked based on the current prices at the time of booking (in case the student chooses CGC to assist in travel, accommodation, and food).
  • Students (18+ years of age) can also independently book travel, accommodation, and food. Booking sooner guarantees lower costs.
  • Additionally, the students will be able to take weekend excursions to top tourist spots in Denmark, the expense of which will be paid by the students. Only interested students can join the weekend excursions. However, they must confirm before traveling to Denmark.
  • The participant must fill out the enrolment form first, after which CGC will send a participant undertaking mail containing further instructions.
  • The participant is requested to adhere strictly to the timeline suggested by CGC.
