44th Wireless World Research Forum
It is well established that 5G will provide fast access to information and data. The full promise is availability of “fast, uniform, reliable and cost effective” connectivity anywhere, anytime for users on the move. Scenarios showing need and requirement in several industry verticals are demonstrated. To realize the promise there are, however challenges related generally to security, privacy and to sustainable business models for implementation with SME’s. With the deployment of 5G started in 2020, these challenges must be addressed.

8th International Conference on Communications and Electronics 2020
The International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE) is a reputable bi-annual international conference series in the scientific community on the areas of Electronics and Communications recently.
The increasing reliance of society on wireless communications, along with the emergence of disruptive applications (e.g. smart cities, digital economy and agriculture, and e-health) has stipulated the development of the 5G wireless networks. Recently, the first version of 5G New Radio (NR) with massive MIMO was standardized by 3GPP and the corresponding commercial networks took place in 2018. Though this first 5G NR is expected to offer very high data throughput, communication reliability, and network connectivity, there are still many technical challenges in relation to the MIMO technologies of this 5G NR that are not satisfactorily addressed in previous studies….
