Core Global Capsule (CGC) launched its first research network hub in Africa at the National University of Science and Technology on the 5th of September 2019. CGC is a non- profit making organisation that helps to develop research activities at International level. The CGC Nust seeks to play a leading and impactful role in the cutting edge research and development across multiple disciplines in Universities and other partner organisations.
The Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, Hon Minister Prof. Amon Murwira officially launched the CGC NUST Zimbabwe. He said that education 5.0 is very important in research networking as it is about taking a person from idea to product via research, innovation, teaching, community outreach and industrialisation. The success of the Launch includes the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between CGC and NUST by Prof Dr. ir Ramjee Prasad, President of CTiF Global Capsule, and Prof. Mqhele E. Dlodlo the Vice-Chancellor of NUST.
